The annual Oktoberfest in Tulsa, OK is a Top Five Oktoberfest in the U.S. as listed by USA Today, Conde Nast Traveler Magazine and Orbitz. This is a six-day celebration of Bavarian culture, patterned after Oktoberfest Munich. The event is held at a festival park on the Arkansas River near downtown Tulsa which requires mobile generators to provide power throughout the festival grounds.
In 2022, Clifford Power provided all the event power for this celebration, in coordination with the festival team in charge of the turnkey power and distribution. This temporary power setup included seven mobile generators ranging from 120 kVA to 180 kVA. For power redundancy, we also provided an additional 150 kVA generator to be ready on standby.
Once the generators arrived onsite, we dispatched two Clifford Power Service Technicians to assist the festival team with the power distribution setup. This helped to ensure the power would be distributed appropriately to the areas where it was required, and that Tulsa Oktoberfest would have a reliable power system in place for the event.
